Welcome

6/24/2009

G'day one and all. Well it has been a while. I have had a good yet challenging start to the year. With my Nationwide status being low on the totum pole I have had to Monday qualify for all but one event to this point in the season. I have played three events total missing two cuts and finishing T44 (-11). We have just had a reshuffle of the status so now I am good to go. I should be in all Nationwide events for the rest of the year. This week I am in Bridgeport West Virginia. Stay tuned.

HISTORY

Aussie pro golfer Stuart Deane first arrived in the USA in March of 1996 after impressive professional tour play in Australia and Asia. He has since played a limited professional schedule in the USA after joining the club professional ranks as an assistant and teaching pro in the Dallas/Ft.Worth area.

Deane has dedicated himself to actively resuming competitive tour play and is currently competing on the US Pro Golf Tour. With this new focus, he has his eyes firmly set on his career goal of being a top 30 player on the PGA Tour.

On May 21, 2006, this goal took a leap forward when Deane won the inaugural Trump Million Dollar Invitational at the Trump International Golf Club at the Raffles Resort on Canouan Island in the heart of the Grenadines. The US Pro Golf Tour sent 85 of its top players to compete in this ultimate challenge. After intense competition and high drama, Deane was the only one left standing, holding a Million dollar check presented by Mr. Trump. The impressive $1 Million win, the largest payday of his career, will allow Deane to devote more time to becoming a more accomplished tournament golfer and concentrate on his PGA Tour goal.
